Johnnie M. Hofer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnnie M. Hofer of Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on October 7, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob S. Hofer and Mary E. Hofer (Wipf); his son Donald Hofer; his daughter-in-law Diana Hofer; his grandson Jay Ryan Hofer; his great grandchild Alexis White; his siblings, Jake (Rosie), Eli (Ruth), Dave (Gladys), Martin (VeAnna), Mary (Jake Tschetter) and Richard; and also Ruth Hofer.
He is survived by: his wife Elvina Kleinsasser; his sons, Ronald of Moore, Dennis (Janet) and Reginald (Julie); and his brother Sam of Hitchcock. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Samaritan's Purse.
