He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert H. Hofer and Elsie M. Hofer (Barber); and his nephew Philip Inskeep. He is survived by: his wife Karen J. Willuweit of Huron; and his siblings, Herbert C. Hofer of Brandon and Dorothy Inskeep of Mitchell. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews; eight great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.
