He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Owens of Huron, SD.; his sons, Joel B Gilchrist (Rhonda) of Winner, SD and Jeff Gilchrist of Huron, SD.; his grandchildren, James Gilchrist, Austin Gilchrist (Jade), Avery Gilchrist, Aaron Gilchrist and Brianna Gilchrist; and his great grandchildren, Declan Gilchrist and Radec Gilchrist.
