It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeffrey Nelson of Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harland Nelson and Norma Nelson (Lockwood) of John's Hospital; his sister Jane Nelson; his sister-in-law Joan Nelson; his niece Emily Nelson; and his nephews, Matthew Nelson and Nicholas Nelson.
He is survived by: his close friends, Dave Johnson, Ranger and Scooter; and his siblings, James Nelson of Huron, Julie Lubke (Robert) of Sioux Falls and Joel Nelson (Amy) of Huron. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kuhler Funeral Home (1360 Dakota Ave S, Huron, SD 57350-3660). A prayer was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Huron Christian Church (777 21st St SE, Huron, SD 57350).
More importantly, he was working there while our father was a resident, as he spent his final years suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
