It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffery Van Winkle of Huron, South Dakota, born in Yankton, South Dakota, who passed away on August 10, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jeffery Van shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jeffery Van farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Rick" Winkle and Sheryl Van Winkle (Dvoracek); his spouse Dr. Karl Blessinger; and his brother Scott Van Winkle. He is survived by: his pets, Mocha, Rifia and Patches.
He was a proud supporter of the Huron MS Society, Huron Regional Medical Center Foundation, Jan Manolis Family Safe Center, SD BBQ Championships, Alley Cats, and Beadle County Humane Society.
