He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Dixon and Ella Dixon (Herr); his wife Sylvia Dooley; his son Ron Dixon (Alice); and his great grandchild Reina.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Dixon (Cory Criner) of Sioux Falls and Susan Henderson (Bob Hentzi) of Huron; and his girlfriend June Layton of Huron. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
