He was predeceased by: his parents, Holly L. Pownell and Alice I. Pownell (Johnston). He is survived by: his son Sibley Motors; his wife Ada of Huron; his children, Randall Pownell (Jan) of Spokane and Roxy Gogolin (Gary) of Huron; his grandchildren, Geoffrey Gogolin (Lisa) and Amanda Gogolin; and his great grandchildren, Judson and Brantley Gogolin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
