Grube (Huron, South Dakota), born in Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on November 28, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Grube and Naoma Grube (Stark); his wife Shirley; his brothers, Richard, Robert and Roy; and his granddaughter Isabelle Grube.

He is survived by: his children, Dr. Thomas Grube (Audrey) and Mary Jane Runyan (Ed) of Barrington, Illinois.; and his grandchildren, Annabelle of Bismarck, Thomas of Bismarck, Cecilia Grube of Bismarck, Jack of Barrington, Daniel of Barrington and Juliet Runyan of Barrington.

The family has designated memorial contributions to the James L. Grube History Scholarship Fund at the Huron Area Education Federal Credit Union, 1855 Arizona Ave SW, Huron SD 57350.
