He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles N. Gamber and Ruth L. Gamber (Walker); his wife Marlys Kay Davis; his children, Penny Kay Gamber and Andy Gamber; his brothers, Rodney Gamber, Jack Gamber, Gary Gamber and Randy Nelson; and his father-in-law Archie Davis.
He is survived by: his daughter Gail Thomas (James) of Pierre; his grandson Thomas Fischer of Pierre; his mother-in-law Lorine Davis of Huron; his siblings, Joan Gilbert, June Metter (Dale) of Huron, Jinx Richards (Steve) of Rapid City, Charles Gamber of Huron, Bill Gamber of Huron, David Gamber (Charlotte) of Emery, Howard Gamber of Huron and Royal Gamber (Arlyce) of Nevada; and his brother-in-law Ronald Davis (Dorothy) of Colorado.
