We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2023, at the age of 70, Jacalyn Friesen of Huron, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harris "Bud" Brenner and Gwyn Brenner (VanDuzee); her parents-in-law, George and Annie Friesen; her brother-in-law Jack Friesen; and her nephew Trisdon Rans.
She is survived by: her husband Sam Friesen; her children, Jason Rans, Katie Scheibe (Scott) and Angie Rans; her granddaughters, Karlie Valer, Chelsey Haibeck-Rans, Alissa Byrd and Mylie Byrd; her great grandchildren, Kennidee, Baylee, Jaxton, Oaklee and Greyston; her brothers, Les Brenner (Olga), Bob Brenner (Linda) and Scott Brenner; her siblings-in-law, Jerry, Judy Friesen, Jim, Linda Friesen, Yvonne, Frank Hannifan, Carol Friesen, Darrel, Della Friesen, Helen, Pete Hetle, Quintin and Dawn Sheridan; her sisters, Linda Hanks, Liz Fischer, Peg Mahowald, Kris Wiedenman and Peri Robbins; and also YaYa. She is also survived by family members; and many great friends.
