It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irving Wessel (Huron, South Dakota), who passed away on October 28, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Wessel and Katherine Wessel (Barnes); his stepmother Fern Wessel; his brothers, Robert, Lowell and Dale; his son Bruce Wessel; and his grandson Matthew Wessel.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Wessel (Hegg); his grandchildren, Mandy (Marty), Michelle (Britton), Nick Peters (Kim), Okinawa, Alex (Meghan), Katelyn (Jeremy) and Max (Lea); his great grandchildren, Garrett Wessel, Colton, Ryder, Tayzlee Michalek, Emma, Lilly Garrett, Claire, Emily Peters, Brady and Joanna Peters; his sister-in-law Delores Wessel; his stepbrothers, Stewart Fleming (Gloria Soulek) and Harvie (Roberta); and his friend Dr. Robert Hohm. He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; cousins; and old and new friends.
