Irene Murphy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2019, at the age of 107, Irene Murphy (Huron, South Dakota), born in Lesterville, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ripple and Anna Ripple (Poli); her husband Mike; and her sister-in-law Hazel Murphy. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Mead (Denny) of Huron and Pat Murphy (Bonnie) of Spokane, WA.; her grandchildren, Corey Mead (Robin), Heidi DeJong (Scott), Cody Mead (Chrissy), Dustin Murphy (Teri), Chad Murphy (Amanda) and Katie Daniel (Jason); and her close friends, Henry and Sandy Hanten. She is also survived by six sisters, including her twin, one brother, and one half sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Francis Thrift Store or Catholic Daughters of America, two organizations important to Irene.
