She is survived by: her husband Dave Hofer of Huron; her children, Carol Fox (Doug) of Bancroft, Larson Hofer of Aberdeen and Keith Hofer (Teresa) of Yankton; her grandchildren, Michael Larson of Aberdeen, Jason Fox (Alese) of Huron, Julie Meylor (Dan) of Mitchell, Jon Fox (Molly) of Bancroft, Kasey Hofer (Katie) of Yankton, Miranda Nygaard (Tom) of Watertown and Chelsey Ewalt (David) of Milbank; her great grandchildren, Stirling, Sullivan Fox, Hudson, Maximus Meylor, Ava, Rylee, Brynlee Fox, Giovanni, Leland Larson, Landon, Lauren, Logan Johnson, Kaleb, Taylor, Baby Knox Hofer, Elsie Nygaard and Baby Girl Thompson; her siblings, Vernel Gross of Platte, Clifford Gross of Rapid City, Duane Gross (Naomi) of Tulare, LeRoy Gross (Barbara) of Huron, Allen Gross (Karen) of Menno, MaryAnn Gross of West Brook, MN, Marlyce Spain of Roseville, NC and Victor Gross (Twila) of Hitchcock; and her brothers-in-law, Johnnie Hofer (Elvina) of Huron, Sam Hofer (Ruth) of Hitchcock and Larry Malikowski of Florida.
