He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Olson and Veulah Olson; his wife Shirley Ochsner; his son Scott Olson; his grandson Seth Fischer; and his siblings, Verne, Allen, Ellsworth, Harley, Art, Adrian, Donna, Bernice, Beulah and Gladys.
He is survived by: his children, Reed Olson (Missy) of Sioux Falls and Laurie Zimmer (Dale) of Sioux Falls; his daughter-in-law Lori Olson of Huron; his grandchildren, Nicholas Olson, Elliott, David, Chad, Danica Zimmer, Bryan and Josh Olson; and his great grandchildren, Zoey, Storm, Braxtyn Olson, Layton and Rainey Fischer.
