With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Martens (Huron, South Dakota), who passed away on November 7, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sargent and Laura Sargent (Orr); her spouse Francis Martens of Wessington; her brothers, John, Kenneth, Roger and Burton Sargent; and her daughter-in-law Cay Martens.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Martens (Melanie) of Piedmont and Marcia Stobbs (Bill) of Huron; her grandchildren, Laura McGirr (Brad) of Huron, Eric Martens (Jill) of Farmington and Wade Stobbs of Huron; her great grandchildren, Jett, Jazzlyn McGirr, Morgan Burnett, Mia Sabow-Martens, Elaina and Julia Martens; her stepgrandchildren, Jeremy Beckman (Carrie) and Jamie Beckman; and her siblings-in-law, Harry Martens (Judy) of Rapid City and Dorothy Sargent of Miller. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
