Earlene Retzlaff Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earlene Retzlaff of Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on November 25, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Barton and Vera Barton (Payton); her siblings, Laura Louise Lematta (Wayne), Ken Barton (Delores), Bob Barton (Donna), Ray Barton (Margaret) and Lawrence Barton (Margaret); and her brother-in-law Joe Atkinson.
She is survived by: her husband Ray of Huron; her children, James (Kathy Retzlaff) of Tea and Jennifer (Justin Asmus) of Springfield, MN; her grandchildren, Mark Retzlaff, Kristine Larsen (Jake), Xandar Asmus (Belle Bugay) and Carter Asmus; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Alaina and Alydia Larsen.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kuhler Funeral Home (1360 Dakota Ave S, Huron, SD 57350-3660). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1420 McClellan Dr, Huron, SD 57350). A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Cemetery (5851 East US-12, Aberdeen, SD 57401).
