With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy L. Lorenz of Huron, South Dakota, born in Britton, South Dakota, who passed away on August 20, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl O. Bisson and Harriet Bisson (Lilja); her husband Francis B. Lorenz; and her son James Lorenz. She is survived by: her children, David Lorenz (Jeannie) of Huron, Robert Lorenz (Nancy) of Parkston, SD and Joan DeShazer (Keith) of Huron; her grandchildren, Stephanie Lorenz, Maggie Stevens (Dustin), Ashley Sarvis (Shaun), Zachary DeShazer (Collette), Bart Lorenz (Maggie), Bobbi Anderberg (Kyle) and Logan DeShazer (Liz Martinmaas); and her daughter-in-law JoAnn Lorenz of Aberdeen, SD.. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
