Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Donna Pietz of Huron, South Dakota, born in Parkston, South Dakota, who passed away at the age of 83, on July 25, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin D. Schnabel and Elta Schnabel (Vetter); and her parents-in-law, Charley and Mathilda Pietz. She is survived by: her husband Milo Pietz; her children, Russell Pietz (Ginger) of Aberdeen, Marcia Solie (Joel) of Morgan, MN, Brian Pietz (Michelle) of Lester Prairie, MN and Brenda Arteman (Tony); her grandchildren, Jason Heiling (Samantha), Laura Zimmer (Chris), Marcus Heiling (Alexis), Mallory Verdoes (Kyle), Matthew Pietz, Bailey, Abigail, Rylie Pietz, Emily and Andrew Arteman; her stepgranddaughter Taylor Frericks (John); her great grandchildren, Harvey, Paxton Heiling, Ellianna, Jay, Cal Zimmer, Maverick, Evelyn Heiling, Keaton, Kade Verdoes and Owen Frericks; and her siblings, Daniel Schnabel (Jan), Dorothy Larson (Merv) and Doug Schnabel (Linda). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association or First Presbyterian Church in Huron.
