He was predeceased by: his parents, David Tschetter and Mary Tschetter (Walter); his wife Clara Larsen; his son Dale Tschetter; his brother Donald Tschetter; his stepgrandson Troy; his parents-in-law, Martin and Sella Larsen; and his siblings-in-law, Arthur Larsen (Phyllis), Earl Larsen (Marcella), Ivan Larsen (Karen), Carl Larsen, Ellen Larsen, Amanda Larsen and Loretta Larsen.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Tschetter (Sharon) of Huron, Brian Tschetter (Diane) of Scottsdale, Roy Tschetter (Patti) of Huron and Brenda Bawdon (Brad) of Alpena; his grandchildren, Ashley Pelton (Mike) of Arizona, Jennifer Tschetter of Arizona, Lindsey Machuca (Alex) of Arizona, David Tschetter of Arizona, Rachel Nebelsick (Jeremy) of Minnesota, Michael Tschetter (Cecile) of Huron, Tiffany Bawdon of Woonsocket and Christopher Bawdon of Broadland; his great grandchildren, Westin, Corbin Nebelsick of Minnesota, Kailey, Kinsley Pelton of Arizona, Hartley, Houston and Hayden Tschetter of Huron; his stepgreat-grandchild Courtney Callaghan (Sean) of California; and his sister-in-law Kathryn Larsen of Wessington Springs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kuhler Funeral Home (1360 Dakota Ave S, Huron, SD 57350-3660). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Church (638 Lincoln Ave SW, Huron, SD 57350).
