He is survived by: his adoptive parent Beverly (Lester); his wife Nancy Wicker; his son Trever Erdahl of Huron; his sister Teri Bierstedt of Brookings; his nephew Anthony Bierstedt of Saint Paul, Minnesota; and his close friend Vicki Ravellette.
