He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bennett and Leona Bennett (Bucholtz); his sisters, Bonnie Reeser (Gene) and Charlotte Freese; and his grandson Damond Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Fletcher of Huron; his children, Darwin Bennett (Torrie) of Huron, Deanna Loecker (Lance) of Yankton and Dwayne Bennett (Mirsa) of Huron; and his siblings, Don Bennett (Ruth) of Huron, Gordon Bennett (Velma) of Austin and Eileen Hill (Ken) of Hickory.
