It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darwin Peterson of Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on June 26, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell A. Peterson and Lois B. Peterson (Pederson); and his brother-in-law Larry Hancock (Janice). He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Labor of Huron; his children, Philip Peterson of Huron, Ashley Peterson of Sioux Falls, Brett Burt (Laura) of Austin, TX and Shane Burt of New Braunfels, TX; his grandchildren, Kennedy Pudwill, Brendan and Aidan Burt; his siblings, Dennis Peterson (Wendy) of Bruce and Janice Fergen (Tom) of Brookings; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Templeton (Dave), Cheryl Ludens (Gene) and Gene Labor (Bev). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
