It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Barnes of Huron, South Dakota, born in Wolsey, South Dakota, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Wilmer "Lee" Barnes (Julie Thomas) and Georgeen Brown (Brower); his fiancée Kayla Sides; his children, Gabriel Chapman, Logan Authier, Katana Keller and Kali Authier; his stepsister Kelly Thomas; his nephew Riley Jankord; his extended family, Jeannie, Wayne Hofer and Michael Hofer; and his aunts and uncles, Mike Barnes, Randall Barnes (Lois Doris), Wesley Barnes (Peggy), Wendell Barnes (Josie), Wanda Weiker, Wahneta Norton and Wilma Seaman (Jerry). He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
