He was predeceased by: his parent Mary; his parents-in-law, Emilia "Katie" and Phillp Were; his siblings, Dianna Flemmer and Herbert Huber; his siblings-in-law, Mildred Walth, Leona Morrison, Bruce Morrison and Delbert Schock; and also Wayne Flemmer.
He is survived by: his spouse Phyllis Katherine Werre; his children, Kenneth of Sioux Falls and Elisabeth "Lisa" of Frankfort; his grandsons, Christian Lewis of Lake Preston and Spencer Lewis of Frankfort; his sister-in-law Janice Schock of Bowdle; and also Dale Lewis of Frankfort.
