She is survived by: her husband Wayne Shimer; her children, Jerolyn Gibson (Dean) and Cleo Ripley (Don); her grandchildren, Noelle Ligtenberg, Adam Ripley, Justin Gibson, Angela Taylor and Danica Allmer; her great grandchildren, Grace, Anna, Blaise, Silas, Sadie Ligtenberg, Gideon Ripley, Aleksander, Brynn, Carter Gibson, Dakota, Drew Allmer, Dylan and Breanna Taylor; and her sister Phyllis Swanson of Brandon, SD..
