She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignatius Ambrose and Edna Anna Howardson (Meyer); her son Bruce; and her siblings, Mary Jane Rist and Ambrose Howardson.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald (Gayle) of Huron, Philip (Lori) of Flower Mound, Texas, Laura Metter of Huron and Kerry Powell (Patrick) of Denver, Colorado; her grandchildren, Levi Powell, Brittany Becker (Jesse), Corey Metter (Melissa), Justin Powell, Cassie Larsen (Travis), Jonathan Schied (Melissa), Anthony Schied (Kaycee), Benjamin Schied (Elizabeth), Zachary Metter and Adam Schied (Nikki); and her siblings, Henry Howardson (Jane) of Clark, John Howardson of Harrisburg, Edith Allerdings of Huron, Mag Allerdings (Harold) of Eden Prairie, Minn, Mildred Ulvestad (Glenn) of Harrisburg and Ginny Davis (Don) of Abilene, Kansas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
