He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Gutormson; and his brother Samuel Gutormson. He is survived by: his mother Mary Leanne Gutormson (Patrick) of Huron; his siblings, Erik Gutormson of Toronto, SD, Tim Gutormson (Kalyn) of Brookings and Janna Volten (Rick) of Viroqua, WI; and his nieces and nephews, Kara Gutormson of Brookings, Kaitlin Volten of Racine, WI, Rebecca Deaver (Tyler) of Colorado Springs, CO, Kyle, Kurt and Kaden Gutormson of Brookings.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Welter Funeral Home (267 3rd St SE, Huron, SD 57350). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the American Lutheran Church (155 4th St SE, Huron, SD 57350). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the Ideal Cemetery (993 21st St SE, Huron, SD 57350).
