He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Orth and Johanna Orth (Edelman); his wife Luella Ammon; and his daughter Linda. He is survived by: his children, Gary Orth (Kathy), Bruce Orth of Alpena and Nancy Slostad (Dean) of Watertown; his grandchildren, Jodi Doering (Gerrad), Gerry Orth (Kim), Traci Schweitzer (Ryder), Dr. Jennifer Slostad (Richard), Stephanie Waller (Martin) and Drs; and his sister-in-law Marion Meyer of White Lake, SD.. He is also survived by the youngest of four children, he joined two sisters and a brother.
