He was predeceased by: his parents, John Christiansen and Mary Christiansen (Johnson); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lou Christiansen, Ruth Christiansen, Ivan Trowbridge and John McGee.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila McGee; and his siblings, Tom (Karen) of Hurley, Joel (Connie) of St. Lawrence, SD, Marie Trowbridge of Huron, SD, Dale of St. Lawrence, SD and Ruth Lindgren (Rick) of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and family and friends.
They moved to Kansas City and he worked as a project manager for the CFCA (Christian Foundation for Children and Aging).
