He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Novak and Darlene Novak (Brehmer); and his siblings, Robert Novak, Leonard Novak, Diane Roth, Duane Novak, Merlin Novak and Mark Novak.
He is survived by: his sister Melody of Hurley; and his sisters-in-law, Rita Novak and Alice Klinkenborg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (700 Oregon Ave, Hurley, SD 57036).
