He is survived by: his wife Karen Hermanson; his sons, Stuart Van Noort of Sioux Falls, SD and Randy Van Noort of Hudson, SD; his grandson Austin Van Noort of Canton, SD; and his siblings, Allen Van Noort (Orlene) of Hawarden, IA and Betty Zwart of Hawarden, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
