Kevin Alan Butterfield Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kevin Alan Butterfield of Hudson, South Dakota, born in Pierre, South Dakota, who passed away on July 16, 2023 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Butterfield and Virginia Butterfield (Mitchell); and his grandparents, Lloyd, Hattie Butterfield (Caskey) of Creighton, NE, Leon and Helen Mitchell (Nagel) of Orchard, NE.
He is survived by: his sister Kim Butterfield of Brunswick, OH.; and his aunts, Donna Sanne of Kearney, NE and Claudia Billingslea of Wickenburg, AZ.
As his final act of kindness, Kevin donated his corneas and other tissue to help restore sight and health to others. Donations can be made to The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) South Dakota or to Hudson Care and Rehab Center in Hudson, SD in remembrance of Kevin.
