He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Dumas and Phyllis Dumas (Bleil); his nephew Ryan Utesch; and his great-nephew Zach Rolfes. He is survived by: his wife Carol Utesch; his children, Charles Allen Dumas (Melanie) of Hudson, Heath Dumas (Tricia) of Akron, Sara Pearson (Jason) of Hudson, James Dumas (Toni) of Hudson, Kylie, Jordan, Kaden, Bailey and Ethan; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Layne, Sumer, Paige, Grace and Haylee; his children, Ashlyn and Mason; his close friend Mandi McCurdy; and his sisters, Chris Van Gelder (Gary) of Creston, Cindy Hamilton (John) of Chariton and Kay Mulder (Chuck) of Ireton, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
