He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dean, Cecil, Leta Trusty and Goldie Jones. He is survived by: his wife Betty Thompson of Howard, SD; his sons, Robert Thompson (Susan) of Rapid City, SD, Larry Thompson (MaryAnn) of Glenwood Springs, CO and Steve Thompson (Karen) of Blair, NE; and his sister-in-law Delores Thompson of Brandon, SD. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
