He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Hannemann and Alvina Hannemann (Seehafer); his former wife Doris Paulson; his siblings, Agnes Nitteberg, Lorena Frevik and Erhard; his grandson Adam Hojer; and his great grandchild Cecilia Carlson.
He is survived by: his wife DeLaine Hannemann; his daughters, Deanne DeRungs (Dan), Denise Hojer (Scottie), Karen Duffy (David) and Janet Nelson; his grandchildren, Michael Hojer, John Duffy, Staci Carlson, Sarah Hojer, Laura Hojer, Kari Allen, Garret DeRungs and Gabe DeRungs; his great grandchildren, David, Matthew, Clara, Nathan Carlson, Ellie and Reid DeRungs; and his stepchildren, Beth Prostrollo (Verlin), Joey McCarthy (John), Dee Remacle and Scott Kalvig (Karen). He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
