He was predeceased by: his sister Vivian Jones; his stepfather Beryl Tracy; and his granddaughter Allison Koepsell. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Jeanne of Howard, SD; and his children, Dan Esser (Carla) of Canova, SD, Dean Esser (Darcy) of Canova, SD, David Esser (Barb) of Canova, SD, Linda Koepsell (Loren) of Sioux Falls, SD and Leanne Eich (Cory) of Epiphany, SD. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren; three sisters.
