He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell L. Niffenegger and Marlene L. Niffenegger (Karstens); and his daughter Danielle L. Chadwick (Niffenegger). He is survived by: his wife Karen Fife; his daughter Patty Ann Niffenegger; his siblings, Jean Shepard (Niffenegger) of Sioux Falls, SD and Michael Niffenegger (Mike) of Upland, CA; his grandson Gavin; and also Stefanie Opp of Howard, SD. He is also survived by two nephews, one niece, and many friends.
