We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2021, at the age of 94, Leroy Hemmer of Howard, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Thelma Wallwin; his parents, August Hemmer and Minnie Hemmer; his sisters, Helen Van Emmerik and Delores Hemmer; his granddaughter Brandi Lueders; and his son-in-law Lynn Cheeseman.
He is survived by: his son Joseph LeRoy; his stepdaughter Mary Ann; his wife Bonnie Paige; his stepgrandchild Jodie; his children, Mary Van Emmerik (Robert), Starr Cheeseman, Edna Jorgensen (Brian), Dee Wilson, Joe Hemmer and Jodie Gluhm (Rod); and his brother-in-law Gene Van Emmerik. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
