He was predeceased by: his parents, Josh Hofer and Elizabeth Hofer; and his granddaughter Marissa. He is survived by: his wife Hilda Waldner; and his children, Josh (Susanne), Randy (Melissa), Roseann (Jake), Margaret and Marlene. He is also survived by five children, ten grandchildren, three brothers, and five sisters.
