It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janeen Genzlinger (Howard, South Dakota), who passed away on March 27, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Genzlinger and Geraldine Genzlinger; her nephew Adam Jon Genzlinger; and her pet Buffy. She is survived by: her siblings, Winston Genzlinger (Carolyn) of Madison, SD, Greg Genzlinger (Pat) of Elkton, SD and Mona Dickhaut (Leonard) of Winner, SD; and her nieces and nephews, Eric Genzlinger (Nataliya), David Genzlinger (Roxanne), Joel Dickhaut, Angela Dickhaut, Wade Dickhaut, Dawn Reedy (Jim) and Robin Hemmen (Luke). She is also survived by twelve great-nephews and nieces, one great-great nephew, and other numerous relatives and friends.

Memorials will be donated to Main Street Living, which broadcasts a Lutheran worship service program that is endorsed by the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

“So sad to hear about Janeen’s passing. I was a court reporter for 30 years and Janeen was my co-worker and friend. Janeen enjoyed working with Judge Gene Paul Kean for many years and put out an excellent work product. She was proud of her profession and, as others have said, she was always bringing homemade treats for the courthouse break room. I have many recipes from Janeen. RIP until we meet again. I will miss you.”
