It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Hofer (Howard, South Dakota), born in Madison, South Dakota, who passed away on December 4, 2019, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Tschetter and Rachel Tschetter (Hofer); her siblings, Phillip, Val, Paul, Willy and Tilly; and her sister-in-law Emma Tschetter.
She is survived by: her husband Mike Hofer; her children, Michael Hofer (Marlene) of Howard, Aileen (Ron Wipf) of Tea and Janet Wollman (Sam) of Worthing; her grandchildren, Michael, Jared, Kaden, Brandon, Akia, Ava, Samuel and Aubrey; and her siblings, Julie Waldner (Rudy) of Iroquois, Lila Waldner (Moe) of Volga, Sarah Waldner (Wayne) of Huron, Marvin Tschetter of Sioux Falls, Ray Tschetter (Rose) of Sioux Falls, Jerry Tschetter of Howard and Conrad Tschetter of Howard. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
