He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, Duane Manning and Dick Mockler; and also Bonnie Manning. He is survived by: his wife Karen Manning; his daughters, Kim I. Manning of Des Moines and Michelle Manning (Steve Weiss); his grandsons, David Willadsen (Lexi Wolfe) of Des Moines and Daniel Willadsen of Des Moines; and his siblings, Dennis Manning (Sally) and Agnes Mockler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for a memorial to be directed later.
