He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Huber (Roesler) and John E. Huber; his siblings, Melvin, Harvey and Melinda Murrey; and his grandson Evan Jensen.
He is survived by: his wife Marcella Joy Schock; and his children, Scott Huber (Diane) of Kadoka, SD, Dixie Beitelspacher (Darren) of Hoven and Jodi Jensen (Lynn) of Lake Poinsett, SD. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
He will be remembered for his charitable personality in many ways including the organization of "Operation Hay Lift" in which he collected hay donations for ranchers suffering drought in other parts of the state.
