He was predeceased by: his parents, Verne Piper and Beatrice Piper (Casey); his former wife Twila Piper; his brother Edward Piper; his siblings-in-law, Ina Piper, Nancy Piper, Gwendolyn Sherwood and Glen Sherwood Jr.; and his nephew Roger Sherwood.
He is survived by: his former wife Twila O'Connor; his children, Randy Piper (Karmen) of Sioux Falls, Wayne Piper of Edgemont, Drake Piper (LaShia) of Fort Pierre and Jazmine Tarrant (Piper) of Hot Springs; his granddaughters, Erika Piper of Omaha, NE and Brooke Piper of Sioux Falls; his brothers, Don Piper of Osage, WY, Harold Piper (Charlotte) of Wood and Rodney Piper of Wood; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Piper of Winner. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
