He is survived by: his son Bob Steckman; his grandsons, Noah and Sam; his stepchildren, David, Mark, Carl Wayne Johnson and Melissa Whitmeyer; and his sisters, Zelda Strand (Bud), Joy Neugebauer (Stan), Claire Scott (Randy) and Wyone Leonard. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, step grandchildren, cousins and friends.
