He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Swenson and Pansy Swenson of Pierre; and his former wife Kay Swenson. He is survived by: his wife Sandy of Hot Springs, SD; his children, Mark Swenson (Denise) of Pierre, SD, Scott Swenson (Brandy) of Pierre, SD and Arnette Swenson of Pierre, SD; his brother Mark Swenson (Valerie) of Pierre, SD; and his stepdaughter Michelle Meland of Rapid City, SD.. He is also survived by 2 grandsons and 3 step-grandsons, 1 step-granddaughter, 4 great-grandchildren, several cousins, and many special musician friends.
