He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur N. Anderson and Olga Anderson (Wold); and his brother Art. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Sue; his brothers, Paul and Glen (Elaine); and his nieces and nephews, Michelle, Kristi (Sergio), Christine, Brianna, Jeff (Staci) and Jon (Melanie).
One of Jim's Take Pride award groups was a Boy Scout troop who poured concrete to stabilize the mining head frame in what is now the Tonopah Mining Park, as well as get the land for the park donated to the city.
