He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Lysher and Frances Lysher (Meier); his brother Melvin Lysher; his in-laws, Avald and Clara Youngren; his brother Russell; his sisters-in-law, Jeanet Howard and Kathy Youngren; his nephew John Lysher; his great-nephew Jasper Youngren; and his great-niece Ava Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Lysher; his brother LeRoy Lysher (Karyn); his siblings-in-law, Carole Lysher and Ronnie Youngren; his children, Keith Lysher, Kim Jirsa (Dan) and Heidi Porter (Steve); his grandchildren, Andrew Lysher, Katie Lovan (Leo), Brooke Thoemke (Alex Uiberreiter), Jade Seiler (Nicholas), Cole Porter and Jake Porter (Alexis Wendling); his great grandchildren, Malaki Lysher, Lois Lovan, Eli, Ember and Amara Claussen; and also Alyssa Jirsa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Chamberlain McColley's Funeral Home (401 N Garden St, Hot Springs, SD 57747). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785).
