She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John Vries and Marge De Vries. She is survived by: her husband Peary; her children, Brian (Petra) and Darshan Soske (Junior); and her siblings, Don De Vries (Sheila) and Bev Hemple. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
In recent years, she developed Alzheimer's and/or Lewy Body Syndrome.
