He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" and Lucille Haynes (Williams); and his brothers, Larry, Veryl and Lyle Haynes.
He is survived by: his siblings, Don Haynes (Jolene) of Philip, Loren Haynes (Anna) of Martin, Lynette Batie (Darrel) of Hermosa, Audrey Brooks of Rapid City, Kathleen Bochman (Merlon) of Rozet, Sarah Hopkins (Bob) of Pahrump and Doreen Harter (Randy) of Rapid City; his stepmother Bonnie Haynes of Meadow; and his sisters-in-law, Sharlyn Haynes of Bridgewater and Janelle Haynes of Martin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and his very special friend.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
